Hired MoxyWebDesign.com to create a website template - WHAT A DISASTER - they couldn’t even get my logo right - I’m ashamed of how ugly my site has become. If anyone out there can do better please contact me asap and tell your clients to beware MoxyWebDesign - this company is a total scam - they can’t do anything right at all

Seems kinda like plagiarism to me… offering free layouts really disturbs the functioning of our creative juices in the design industry.

Does anybody know where professional CSS templates could be purchased exclusively? Some of these free designs are great, but I would prefer a totally custom design only for my page. There are a lot of designers but they don’t have already made templates if you want exclusive designed site - they design it after you order.

Groups: I disagree with you. So many people are blogging at the moment that it’s unrealistic to expect the average Blogger to have to pay so much money for something so simple.

If someone can make a living my designing only Blogger templates, then Kudos to them. I only design them because I love doing so and I am just tired of generic and boring designs.
It’s not plagiarism if I have made them and distribute them. Ever heard of Creative Commons?

I found some excellent, simple, attractive designs through OSWD (Open Source Web Design) and customized one (the author/designer made everything extremely easy by using comments throughout the code) to create a site for a non-profit for which I volunteer.

For a designer developing a site for free on a very tight schedule with only some knowledge of code, some of the designs on these sites are a life-saver! Yay for the generosity of talented folks and the miracle of “the internets”! :)
